Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Flash Morse mobile application. Flash Morse does not require you to create an account, and it does not provide a cloud service for saving your messages or Morse code.

2. Information we handle

Text you enter

Text entered for Morse conversion is processed on your device. It is used to display the Morse-code preview and control the flashlight transmission. Flash Morse does not intentionally upload, store, or share the text you enter. The text remains in the app only while the relevant screen is in use unless you copy the Morse result to your device clipboard.

Analytics and diagnostics

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. These services may automatically collect app interactions and screen navigation, app-instance and technical identifiers, device and operating-system information, app version, approximate region, crash details, and related diagnostic data. We use this information to understand general app usage, diagnose failures, improve reliability, and protect the app from abuse.

Flash Morse does not sell personal information, show personalized advertising, or use the text you enter for advertising or profiling.

Information described above is used to:

• provide the app's Morse conversion and flashlight features;
• measure app performance and understand feature usage;
• identify, investigate, and fix crashes and technical problems;
• maintain security and prevent misuse; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Sharing and service providers

We share information only as needed to operate the app, when required by law, or to protect users, the app, and others.

6. Security and retention

We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Analytics and crash information is retained according to the Firebase settings and retention practices applicable to the app, and may be kept longer when required for security or legal reasons.

7. Your choices and rights

• You can decline or revoke camera permission in your device settings, although flashlight features may no longer work.
• You can clear copied Morse code by replacing your device clipboard contents.
• You can uninstall the app at any time.
• You can use device or platform privacy controls that apply to analytics and diagnostic collection.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, restrict, or object to certain processing. To ask a privacy question or make a request, contact the developer through the support contact shown on the Flash Morse app-store listing. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

8. Children's privacy

Flash Morse is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If local law sets a higher minimum age for independent consent, users must meet that age or have authorization from a parent or guardian. Contact us through the app-store listing if you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when we do. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or its store listing.
